Nina Dobrev.

- I wanted to do Nina Dobrev because my favorite show The Vampire Diaries is on tonight on The CW. I've been watching her since she was Mia on Degrassi: The Next Generation on The N (which is now Teen Nick). I love her. She is a little thin but I believe she's tall & I just think she's really great :) I think she also always dresses well, always very cute & stylish. I want her leather jacket from the first few episodes in season 1! It's pictured in the second picture, a screen shot.

Thursday, September 30th.

23 points for the day.

Lean Cuisine Salisbury Steak w/ Macaroni & Cheese: 5 pts.

Grande Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks: 5 pts.

No fruits or veggies yet. No oil, milk or water. No lean protein or whole grain yet. I will take my multivitamin after I eat.

 

I've been job hunting today. 2 of my friends work at 2 different McDonald's & I'm almost guranteed a job when I drop their names. It's a good thing I don't eat McDonald's! Ew. A job is a job though & beggers can't be choosers. Money is money no matter if I'm the president of Microsoft or if I'm saying, "Do you want fries with that?". I'm lucky to have friends that can get me a job in the first place. I have applied at 2 comtemporary spas though. Those pay more then McDonald's & would obviously be better to work for but I can't wait around for a job, I need one now. I gave each manager at both spas my resume` on Monday & I called them today to check up on it. One of the managers wasn't in & one will be in at 1:00 (right now actually) so I'll be calling that manager back in about a half hour. The other one I'll send an e-mail & then call on Monday.

Journal 04.

i haven't eaten anything today yet (which isn't good, i know) but i'm about to. i woke up at 11:30 (didn't want to set my alarm). i got my hair color from Walmart lol (with a $2 off coupon!)

i bought platinum blonde & black. i know its skunkish or frakenstein's wife sounding but i think it will look cute with my bob. im excited :) im doing the blonde right now, it takes the longest. it's annoying but i just hope it turns out the way i want. at least BLONDE lol. then i'll do the black.

Tuesday, September 28th.

23 points for the day.

Breakfast: 3 pts. total

Snacks: 4 pts. total

Desert: Trader Joe's Organic Chocolate low fat Yogurt Parfait: 4 pts.

i had 2 pork tacos for dinner that my mom made. the pork was slow cooked all day, & it was wrapped in a corn tortilla. my mom did fry the tortillas though, but corn tortillas have no fat so i'm not freaking out too bad. i topped it with onion, cilantro & home made salsa with some squirts of lime. i know that that the pork was 3 pts. each serving so it was 6 pts. for the pork. i don't know about the tortilla's.

pork: 6 pts.

Total for the day (without my corn tortillas from dinner added): 17 pts.

i feel i did pretty well. it's not perfect but i'm just starting out & nothing is perfect but i'm doing way better then i normally would if i wasn't trying to eat healthy & that's the point. i'm making small changes that will become habits.

i watched The Bad Girls Club on the Oxygen network. first time i've seen the new season, i love it lol. i'm dying my hair similar to Lea on the show.

so her hair kind of changes in different lighting & what not or she has dyed it numerous times. sometimes it looks black & platinum blonde, sometimes black & yellow blonde. sometimes its light brown & platinum blonde. i have medium to dark brown hair so i'll probably do black or maybe something with red in it & then have the platinum blonde streaks where they are on her hair. i don't mean to "copy" her but it's really cute, i like the idea & i want to try it! lol, if it was a close friend or something, i wouldn't.

Journals 01, 02 & 03.

Sunday, September 26th.

23 points a day

Breakfast: 1 cup of Kashi cereal: 3 pts.

1/2 a cup of skim milk: 1 pt.

Lunch: Lean Cuisine ravioli meal: 4 pts.

olive oil on my salad: i didn't get the points for it because it already pre-mixed with red wine vinegar. that's a once in a lifetime thing, i don't usually have them pre-mixed.

Dinner: Boca Burger (meatless patties): 2 pts.

whole wheat bun from Sara Lee: 1 pt.

slice of regular american cheese: 2 pts.

serving of sweet potato fries: 3 pts.

mustard, onion & lettuce: 0 pts.

i had 2 servings of veggies or fruit. 3 servings of "milk". 1 serving of oil. 4 servings of water (i drink a big jug of water, not water bottles, so i know i have enough water in my plan). 1 serving of lean protein. yes, on the whole grains (my cereal & whole wheat bun) & then a One Women's Daily Multi-Vitamin.

Point total for the day: 20 pts. - they want you to eat up to all your points throughout the day but i had eaten dinner at like 9:00 (a lot later then i usually do) so i knew i didnt need to eat after that & i didn't count for my oil anyway.

 

Monday, September 27th.

27 points a day.

Breakfast: 2 Multi-grain waffles: 3 pts.

honey: 1 pt.

1/2 of a banana: 0 pt.

Yoplait fat free Greek yogurt in honey & vanilla: 3 pts. (i don't usually eat that yogurt, i just wanted to try it.)

Snack: edamame: 2 pts.

Snack: home made salsa w/ 14 baked Tostitos Scoops: 2 pts.

Snack: 14 wasabi & soy sauce flavored almonds: 2 pts.

10 points left for dinner.

i had 3 servings of veggies or fruit. 1 serving of "milk". no servings of oil. 4 servings of water. yes, i had whole grains, it was my waffles. & a One Daily Women's Multi-Vitamin.

i then went to the dinner buffet at a local casino. i don't normally eat out (my family doesn't have the money for it) but i went out with my mom because my dad didn't feel well & so he didn't want to go. i didn't go all out at the buffet & eat everything in sight but i know i didn't "well". just because i'm eating healthy doesn't mean i can't have a treat sometimes. i know it was early on but like i said, i dont normally do that & i won't do anything of that sort until at least Sunday dinner.

 

Tuesday September 28th.

23 points for the day.

Breakfast: southwestern style egg whites: 1 pt.

Hungry Girl Key Lime Pie fat free yogurt: 0 pts. - this yogurt has 50 calories, 5 grams of fiber & no fat! it comes in other flavors also.

14 wasabi & soy sauce flavored almonds: 2 pts.

1/2 of a pomegrante

14 Tostitos Scoops baked chips w/ home made salsa: 2 pts.

SO FAR: 5 pts. used - 18 points left.

1 serving of fruit & veggies. 1 serving of milk. no servings of oil. 2 servings of water. no servings of lean protein. no whole grains. & a One Daily Women's Multi-Vitamin.

i walked my dog around my neighborhood for 35 minutes. i was going to do 45 but it was 100 degrees outside today. my dog was extremely thristy & hot & so was i so i cut off 10 minutes. when it gets cooler (which will actually be next week) i'll do 45 minutes. im going to walk earlier tomorrow & see if its cooler though & if it is i'll do 45 minutes. i love to listen to Maroon 5 & other artists like them when i walk.
